A collaboration between two creators, a musician and a dancer/singer-songwriter, who come together in their love for the Gnawa tradition of Morocco and the desire to innovate and create in Israel of today as a gateway to prayer and a state of musical ecstasy.

A music and dance performance inspired by the Gnawa people, who belong to the Sufi order in Morocco. The performance represents a personal and feminine interpretation of the Gnawa rituals, in which the rhythmic repetition combined with "call-and-response" chants with adapted melodic movement, causes Gnawa music to create a state of "transcendence."

Using computer and sampling, in addition to live playing on the guembri and karkaba, the traditional bass and percussion instruments, a new-old collage is created that takes the ritual to a new level. The modern production is also joined by Hebrew translations with a feminine perspective, which also add a new dimension to the renewed Gnawa tradition in Israel.
